For literally my whole life, I've drawn without guidelines. At first, I thought it was cool, because I was like, "Yeah! I don't need a stinking guideline crutch! I can do this on my own!" But now, I've come to realize that this is an AWFUL thing. If any of you are progressing on in life without guidelines, please rethink your idea. Without guidelines, not only can you not take from other art styles nearly as easily, but as you try to change your art style, things will begin to sort of deform and you have to spend time fixing that, and as yo
